A two-piece is a lid and a bowl — small, cheap, less to clean. A four-piece adds a screen and a collection chamber underneath, which means a more even grind and roughly twice the height. If you carry it in a pocket, the height matters more than the spec sheet suggests. Nobody has ever regretted spending four more dollars on a grinder. Teeth shape matters more than people expect. Diamond-cut teeth shear; peg-style teeth tear. Neither is better — they give a different texture. Torch or soft flame? A torch burns hotter and survives wind, which is why it’s the one for outdoors and for anything that needs real heat. A soft-flame lighter is cheaper and refillable. Most people end up owning both. On scales, readability beats capacity. A 100g × 0.01g scale is more useful to most people than a 1000g × 0.1g one. Check the second number, not the first. Smell-proof is a spectrum, not a switch. A lined pouch with a zip does a genuinely good job. Nothing is absolute. Buy for how it’ll actually be used. ## It’s all out on the shelf 2724 W Old US Hwy 441, Mount Dora, FL 32757 — Mount Dora Plaza, parking out front. Open 7 days, 10 AM – 10 PM.
