Ooze in Mount Dora, FL

Ooze is the battery brand. That is what most people come in for, even if the company makes a good deal more.

Their 510-thread batteries fit the standard cartridge thread that most of the market uses, and they are the thing we hand over when somebody’s old battery has stopped charging and they want a replacement that will not be obsolete next year. Variable voltage on most models, USB-C charging on the current generation.

The useful detail is the thread standard itself. 510 is close to universal, which means an Ooze battery is one of the few parts of a setup you can replace without worrying about brand lock-in. That is worth more than any individual feature.

Beyond batteries they make glass, silicone pieces, trays and a wide spread of accessories, much of it in colours that photograph badly and look considerably better in the hand.

Bring the cartridge or the old battery if you want to be certain of the fit. It is usually fine, but “usually” is why people make a second trip.
